Knowledge and creativity in unique handicrafts
The LOULÉ CRIATIVO Workshop Network is made up of several spaces dedicated to arts and crafts, which aim to keep alive the traditions and activities that are important for the city and the municipality of Loulé, contributing to value and promote local identity. They are places for working and selling handicraft products, where it is possible to meet the artisans, materials and techniques, see the pieces come to life and even participate in courses and workshops.
Palm Weaving Shop
Rua Vice-Almirante Cândido dos Reis, n.º 20, 8100-641 Loulé
The Palm Weaving shop, located in the heart of the historic center of the city, is made up of a collective of artisans who intertwine the palm, sew and connect each of its branches, using ancestral techniques, to produce varied pieces that are the delight of visitors.
Copper Shop
Rua da Barbacã, n.º26 e 28, 8100-546, Loulé
The “Copper Shop” is placed in the Rua da Barbacã, a shop available by the council so that the artisans work together, create and sell their products, fulfilling a series of requests to assure the authenticity that bring value to the knowledge and authenticity of the pieces.
The Clay Studio

The Clay Studio is located in Martim Moniz Street, in the historic city center of Loulé, in the building where in the past was the ancient and recovered pottery of José João Velhote.
Watchmaker Studio
Rua do Bocage, nº7, 8100-559 Loulé
The watchmaker's craft had in the past great importance in the municipality of Loulé, where there was enough demand for gold ou silver but also for watches, used as adornment.
Luthier Studio
Solar das Palmeiras, 8100-508 Loulé
In the city center at Solar das Palmeiras building, is Luthier Studio, where the luthier Manuel Amorim is dedicated to the construction and repairing of musical instruments, as Portuguese guitars, classical guitars, “violas campaniças”,” cavaquinhos”, mandolins, cellos, etc.
