Born in Venezuela, it was in Loulé that, as a child, she first encountered palm art at the hands of her maternal grandmother.
Creative, she enjoys working with her own hands. She experimented with various techniques and materials throughout her life and discovered her passion for teaching in the crafts classes she taught for eight years. She won several national awards and coordinated the construction of a one-of-a-kind nativity scene, a project involving 500 hours of work.
A versatile artisan, she never says no to a challenge.
